New Designs for Nashville Market

Good morning!

Hope that you are busy thinking about all kinds of things that are stitching related! Just wanted you to know about of all the new designs for you!

Chilly Willy Stacker

Following our other fun Stackers is our winter version! An antique spool will be included in the chart at market. All finishing instructions are included in the chart.

Corrections!
Just needed to let you know that I found a problem with the Chilly Willy Stacker symbols on the small (face) section.  So let me explain what you need to know to correct your copy of the design.
Use Black Licorice for the eyes and mouth.
Use Tea Rose for the cheeks and the first large snowflake.
Use Carrot for his nose.
Also use Black Licorice for the dark blue French knots and back stitching.

Just goes to show that we can have the best intentions, but mistakes still happen!! I am so sorry for the mistake!
          Simple Gifts-Snow
A new design in the Quaker series!  This fun design is stitched in shades of blue and white; with snowmen and snowflakes to delight the eye.

Haunted Hillside Farm
Spooktackular tricks are underway at the farm!  Hanging spiders, glowing pumpkins and ghostly appearances are ready for those brave enough to go! This piece is finished as a table topper but can be framed as well. Chart includes complete finishing directions.

Busy Bee Pinball Kit
This is a limited-edition kit. It includes linen, floss, ribbon, fabric, and finishing discs. It uses 32ct linen and DMC floss. All complete finishing instructions & materials are included with the kit.

Happy Stitching!!

Nashville 2016 part 2

Here is part 2 of our Nashville offerings. These are 2 limited edition kits.   All the materials are included. The Spider spool measure is a little hard to see since it is all closed up, but it is a actual 3 inch measure-1 black cat, 2 spooky pumpkins and 2 batty bats!  I was such fun to stitch

Creepy Casket Etui

The Letters to Santa includes the envelope to stash the small things in and the letter/pincushion says it all -on one side  " Dear Santa, I have been a good girl.  I made you cookies." While on the other side is "PS--I can explain Everything!"  Just a lot of whimsie and fun!

                                                                Letters to Santa

More pictures for Nashville 2012

Quaker Pynkeep Necklace
This is one side of the sweet little pincushion necklace kit that we are offeriung at the Make It, Take It event on Frisday nite.  It is a compliment to the Simple Gifts Heart kit.  The shop owners that are there will learn how to make this little jewel and have the opportunity to purchase the kits. This would make a great one nite group project!

Winter Treats is a chart that comes with the frame.  The frames are available for as long as they last.  We only have about 140 of them.  Would make a great teacher or friend gift.

Fall online Needlework Show

Hope that everyone is having a great fall. It is almost time for the fall online Needlework Show! (http://www.needleworkshow.com/)  It runs October 20-25.  Everyone can go and see all the new designs for the designers participating.  If you find something that you like, then you can visit (roadtrip!!) or call your favorite shop so they can order it for you!  It is a way that you can see new designs and designers that you may not know about. We are also having a doorprize drawing! Have fun!

Pumpkins

This fall we decided to design a piece that shows our fasination with all the beautiful colors and shapes of pumpkins!  Pumpkins are a big thing here in North Carolina with all the kindergarten children making trips to the pumpkin farm to select their very own pumpkin and to ride on the hay wagon.  Such a fun trip for everyone!

Christmas Biscornu

This small elegant biscornu is a fast stitch and the perfect little gift for that special stitcher in your life.  Stitched in red on the front and green on the back,  it looks just like the Christmas season but the colors can be changed to fit your own taste.  All the stitching instructions are included with the chart.  We were able to stitch it up and finish it in a weekend-so plenly of time to make several before the holidays!

Take care and we will be in touch--we have pictures from the Cleveland County Fair!

TNNA Fall Show in Baltimore

Pam & Susan

WE ARE BACK!!
We are finally home after being gone a week.  But what a week!! We had the most fun with all the people there!!  We made many new friends and saw so many of our old friends.  And yes we did make complete fools of ourselves!  We dressed up as pinque pirates--pink hair, swords and hats!  We made everyone looking for treasure by following the treasure map that we had created on the floor!  We had a few that had to be run through(Pam's Husband)  however most people were very compliant once we showed our swords! We had several people tell us that they had to come back several times because of the "party" we were having!
We also made you some pics of our showroom at Baltimore.  That way you can see part of it for yourself!

It was such fun--we only wish that you could have been there with us!  There so many wonderful designers and new items that it would be too hard to tell them all--we would be afraid that we would miss something or someone!  It was just fantastic!

Check your local shop and see what they have brought home from market!
You just won't believe all the new things--we couldn't get around to see it all!
Keep Stitching!!

New designs for the Fall Needlework Show in Baltimore!

Ravenmoon Hall
The next in our series of haunted houses! The children are arriving and the party is starting, but wait! Who is that in the upstairs and what is going on in the attic? Looks like there maybe more tricks than treats this night!

The Secrets of the Nereid

The second in the Seafarer's Valentine series, the Secrets of the Nereid features a stitched tray that makes a false bottom (secret compartment) in the Seeafarer's Valentine box.  It has a large silk pocket that is the ideal place for those love letters or stitching stash!
The last part will be out in Feburary.

Getting up to date

Hi everyone!
We have been very behind in posting and I appologise. Life gets in the way of so many things that we want to do.

We worked nonstop fro the Nashville Trade show. It was a lot of work to get ready but--It was so much fun!! We stayed right near some of our good friends Clara from The Stitching Parlor, Ellen from With My Needle and Louise from Cherished Stitches. We also got to drop by our dear friends Pat and Ann at R & R Reproductions to see their new fabrics (WOW. And then we visited the ladies at JABCO to see the new buttons. Next we drooled over all the new things from Weeks Dye Works, Crescent Colours and A Gentle Art. And not last is all the goodies from Paula at Kelmscott. And that just was the tip of the wonderful things that we saw and the people that we spoke to. There are just too many to name.
Some the designs that we had for Nashville show were
Emiliana's Sewing Case.

It was a lot of fun to stitch and is even more fun to use. The floss is Sampler Threads from A Gentle Art and the linen is from Weeks Dye Works.

Here is the flip side--(inside of the case)

The Tiny Pumpkin Etui Kit (we sold out but check with your local shop to see if they have any left)

We also have two other kits that we released--The very cute Eggstraordinary Egg. It even comes with your own Ort Chick!

And the small Christmas cookie cutter ornament kit called Jingle Bells. Lots of fun and asmall piece to stitch. As always with our kits the finishing directions are included.

Last but not least for Nashville is the latest in our Simple Gifts series. Simpler Gifts--Joy.
