New Designs for the 2024 Nashville Market

Hi all!

I hope that all of you have been having lots of fun stitching!  I have been busy getting ready for the Nashville market.  It is hard to believe that it is in 3 weeks!  I wanted to share my latest designs and tell you a little about them.  All of these can be reserved with your local shop.  

Sleigh Ride 

It's the first snow of the year-just in time for the big town Christmas Eve celebration!  Skaters are flying around the small pond, while the horses are pulling the sleighs.  What a perfect night!

Sunflower Farm Stacker

Following our other fun Stackers is our fall scarecrow version! This scarecrow is the perfect addition to our fields.  But there is a problem-he is so cute that he doesn't scare too many crows!  He makes friends with them! Sigh!

Little Mummy. 

This adorable Mummy is a limited-edition kit. It includes a tin mummy bucket, a beaded scissor fob, stitch counter, & pumpkin pincushion. It uses 32ct linen and DMC floss. All materials and complete finishing instructions are included. 

Petite Quaker Drum Kit 

Some of the sweetest things some in small packages.  One of those is this limited-edition kit. It includes linen, floss, ribbon, fabric and finishing materials. It uses 32ct linen and DMC floss. This sweet drum is only 3" high! All complete finishing instructions & materials are included with the kit.

This sweet kit comes packaged with acrylic globe, beads, linen, floss, & trim.  All materials and complete finishing instructions are included.

Caskets Haunted Again Kit 

The kit comes packaged in an unfinished wooden casket which lights up to give it an eerie glow! The casket can be left natural for a rustic look or can be colored with watercolor markers. It includes a beaded scissor fob, light cover & pincushion. It uses 32ct linen and DMC floss. All materials and complete finishing instructions are included.

New Designs for Fall Needlework Expo 2022

     It has been a busy summer! We are busy getting ready for the fall Needlework Expo that takes place August 27-29!  We have lots of fun new designs for your stitching pleasure!  

                                                        Esmeralda's Academy of Charms

    School is back in session at Esmeralda's Academy of Charms!  All the children are busy learning all the spells and tricks for Halloween.  They are making spells to conjure ghosts, ghost cats and wicked spiders!  Even the cats are working hard to learn the perfect flying techniques!   It's going to be an exciting Halloween!

          Pumpkins & Buzzards Biscornu 

Are you ready for all the fun of Halloween?  This fun design gets you ready for the spooky season.  Creepy buzzards, bats and glowing pumpkins-it's going to be an exciting Halloween!   Chart includes complete finishing directions.

Ghosts & Bats Biscornu

The air seems to be full of ghosts & bats this Halloween!  This fun design gets you ready for the spooky season.  But you better beware-there is mischief going on here this Halloween!   Chart includes complete finishing directions. 

 Blue Christmas Ornament kit. 

It is a limited-edition kit. We have a delightfully cute kit comes packaged with a wooden ornament mount, & metal ornament hanger. Materials used include cotton floss, linen, trim, ribbon, & more. All materials and complete finishing instructions are included.

Also we are so excited to be teaching at Christmas at Williamsburg! This is a picture of our class project.  You can't see the custom-made basket that the lid is resting against, but it's beautiful!  All the stitching for the class is done before you come, so you will spend time learning how to do all the finishing.  We always have lots of fun and surprises in our classes so make sure to sign up now while there is still room on our roster.  (We are limited to 18 students for this class!) That way we can give you lots of hands-on attention!  We are looking forward to seeing you soon!

New Designs for Nashville 2016 part 1

Hi! hope that you are doing well so far this year.  We are busy getting ready for Nashville-it is a very hectic time here! We wanted to show you a few of our new designs that we will offering.  The first is called A Churchyard Christmas.

     It's the children's churchyard nativity and all is not well. Halos are crooked, crowns are bent and some of the camels have escaped! After all the years of helping with the children's Christmas programs, we decided to share some of our favorite memories with you in our design! We hope that you will enjoy our new chart.Watch out for those runaway camels!

Say Boo! Scissor Fob kit is a small, sweet kit that will be the perfect addition to your Halloween smalls.(Only 300)

New designs for the Baltimore Show!

      There is a new haunted house design for Baltimore! Croaking Toad Manor is the perfect chart for the fall! You can tell there is mischief about at the manor. There are ghosts, bats, even a monster or two about! But take a closer look at the trouble maker at the pond—it’s a tiny toad with a purple hat. Could he be the one behind all the shenanigans?

 

 It’s time for Santa’s Midnight Flight! This new design features Santa and his reindeer as they cross the sky with a sleeping Victorian town down below. Elves decorate the town’s Christmas tree while someone is leaning out to see the magic!

 

 

We have 2 new kits for Baltimore! O Tannenbaum Etui is a limited edition kit. (Only 180) This kit features a scissor sheath/needle book embellished with Christmas motifs, a 2-sided tiny thimble purse, a tiny pyncushion, and scissor fob. Also included is a clear green tree shaped sewing box. And once everything is stitched, every piece fits back into the etui. Materials used include cotton floss, reproduction calicos, Weeks wool, satin ribbons, beads, Irish linen (6 x 10), beads, etc. All materials and complete finishing instructions are included.

 

          And just wait till you see the little goodie that we have at the Make-it, Take-it event on Friday nite! This little scissor sheath can hang around your neck or add to our sewing box!   It is the perfect accessory for Halloween season!

Wonderfully Wicked Whimsies Kit

This adorable kit features a Haunted House needlebook complete with a felt ghost needle rest inside. The back has a ruched ribbon decoration with a spooky stitch counter. There is also a pumpkin pincushion, a beaded spider thread holder, a 2-sided pin disc, a beaded scissor fob (scissors not included) & lastly a skeletal slide tin that has a creepy surprise inside. Available at the 2011 Nashville Show.

There will be a limited number of the these kits. When they are gone---well, they have gone.
