Simple Gifts-O Holy Night

Simple Gifts-O Holy Night is our newest Quaker inspired design ready just in time for Christmas. Started as companion piece to Simple Gifts-Christmas, this new design echoes the the meaning and the symbols of Christmas.  We hope that you will enjoy stitching this as much as we did! 

A Spooky Biscornu

This was so much fun to stitch! Complete with bats, spiders, cats, ghosts and skeletons, this oversized (6 inches square) will be a spooky addition to all of your stitching smalls! Happy Halloween!

Just a couple of other notes for your information- our blog has "updated"  it's settings etc.  So there are some options that we used to have on our blog that we no longer have available.  The most interesting one is that we no longer get notifications when people make comments on our page.  Since we are not posting everyday, we don't always see them  until much later.  Please if you have a question then email us.  It is listed under our profile.  (praiseworthystch@bellsouth.net)  We always love hearing from you!! New Designs for Nashville 2020

It is almost time for the Nashville market and we have been busy making all kinds of wonderful designs for you! 

 Blue Moon Manor

There's a rare Blue Moon rising over the Manor!Do you see that some of the residents are already on the prowl?! There are ghosts and ghouls coming from far and wide for the night's big Blue Moon party. There are delicious treats and even a few tricks as well for everyone attending.  It's going to be a howling good time!

 

Gingerbread Cottage Drum

 

It's snowing sugar at the Gingerbread Cottage! Everyone and everything is all too sweet! Candy canes, lollipops, gumdrops 7 stacks of cookies are child's dream.  Do you see Santa and his reindeer?  They have decided to visit for a tasty treat!

 The Gingerbread Cottage Drum can be stitched & finished as a drum or framed flat.

Christmas Delights

 

These 2 charts feature a new product for cross stitch! These designs are a fast and fun project that gets you into the holiday spirit.  These are a set of small sweet ornaments that will the perfect addition to any stitcher's seasonal  decorations! These models were stitched on 14ct vinyl Zippy Hoop ornaments with 3 strands of floss.  The only finishing that is required is to cover the backs with sticky felt! Each chart has one Zippy Hoop for you to try.  Zippy Hoops can be purchased separately in two different colors-gold or black.


Just a quick update on the Christmas Delights pattern:  We are adding a correction for the deer's legs. They won't fit on the hoop as they are charted.  Also I (Pam)  stitched the snowman's scarf red when it was supposed to be blue.  Feel free to stitch it either way.  Thank  you so much for your patience!

New Design for Fall! Simple Gifts-Halloween

Simple Gifts-Halloween is our latest design!  It will be out in August to our distributors then to shops from there.  There is just enough time to have it completed for the month of October!  This has been fun to stitch!  It is stitched on 32ct Vintage Sand Dune from Lakeside Linens with floss from Gentle Art and Weeks Dye Works.  Hope you enjoy it.

New Designs for Nashville Market 2019

Nashville is fast approaching and we have been very busy getting all of our designs ready.  We hope that you will enjoy them as much as we did designing them for you.

 Winter at Sugar Hill

The sweetest time of late winter is here-it's maple sugar time!  Smell the syrup is bubbling in the kettles while the trees are dripping their nectar into buckets.  It's a fun celebration for the end of winter.

 

 Simple Gifts-Kindness

Simple Gifts-Kindness is newest in our series of Quaker inspired designs.  In a world that needs kind words, this piece takes us to a time that kindness mattered.

  

          Halloween Hop Drum! 

You are spookily invited to our first ever Halloween Hop This chart features our design as either a drum or a framed piece.  We will have a limited number of finishing kits available for the drum.

 

 This delightfully cute Just Chillin’! kit is a limited edition kit.  These sweet 4” tall ornaments feature a two-sided jolly snowman inside a snow globe.  Materials used include cotton floss, linen, ribbon,  holly stickers, snow & more. New Designs for the Fall

August is coming to a close and fall is just around the corner.  We have been working hard getting all of our new designs ready for you.  We have a new designs for the Halloween & Christmas!

      Mr. Bones Starlight Ballroom

 Mr. Bones has just opened his new Ballroom for all the Trick or Treaters.  He is offering lesson to young or old; spook or haunt. Don't be ;left our on the newest dance craze-the Black Cat Cha-Cha! If that is not your style then maybe the Purple Bat Samba the Spooky Waltz or the Count's Tango is more you.  Mr. Bones knows all the steps and will have you stepping out in style in no time.  Sign up soon-classes are filling up quickly!  They are just to dies for!

Santa Claus Lane

 As you can se Santa Claus is on his way and all the children are so excited to see him! Listen, you can even hear the sleigh bells merrily ringing in the air.  There are snowmen, bunnies & a sweet little house all ready for Santa's arrival.

 

Santa Claus Lane is the sweetest drum at only 4 1/2" high!  It can be finished as either a drum or a framed piece.  We are offering (thru your local shop of course) finishing kits for the drum with red fabric, trim, batting, Bristol board and the inside buttons.

New Designs for Nashville 2018!

Hope you have had a wonderful winter season-full of time to stitch!  We are still busy getting ready for Nashville but we wanted to take time to share our new designs.  We think that you will have fun with these!

Jingle All The Way Dust off your sleds and sharpen your skate blades, it's time for the annual Moonlight Sledding party!  The first big snow has arrived and the full moon is rising.  All the children either are busy heading for the biggest hill in town to sled or the pond to skate. Even the dog is in on the fun! It's an evening for cold weather, hot chocolate and friends!

 

Beach Dreams From beach balls, flip-flops & sandcastles-these are the symbols of the most wonderful memories at the beach!  This chart features our design as either a drum or a framed piece.

 Mary Porter 1832 Mary Porter was just 12 years old when she stitched this beautiful sampler. Surrounded by a strawberry border, the entire sampler is made up of floral motifs, blue birds, butterflies, & flower baskets.  In the center bottom of the sampler Mary stitched a tree of life complete with Adam & Eve and the serpent.

Here is the delightfully cute Petite Snow Buddies Etui kit. It is a limited edition kit These sweet 3” tall Penguin and Snowmen tins include adorable smalls.  Smalls feature a winter hat thread holder, a sledding party needlebook, a crystal stitch counter, a penguin scissor fob, a snowman scissor sheath, and a snowball pincushion.  Materials used include cotton floss, calicos, linen, ribbon, & beads. All materials and complete finishing instructions are included.

Missing Symbol for December Snow

New Designs for Fall are here!

Mummy's Moonlight Café is our new Halloween design!  

This design is smaller, but just as fun to stitch! Come and have dinner after Trick or Treating!  The mummy has hired the finest chef to serve you all the best.  Some of the new items on the menu are Brown Toad Casserole with worm gravy; Fried Bat Wings, Pickled Newt Eyes; Finger foods and best of all Ghost Cake! It promises to be an exciting meal so make sure you get there before everything sells out. 

 

Autumn Quaker is our new Quaker. 

Stitched with fall colors on 30ct Gold linen from Weeks Dye Works, this design whispers of crisp fall temperatures and the splash of leaves on the ground.  This is small enough that you can stitch it in a couple of weekends.

Quaker Christmas Needle Roll

 This sweet little needle roll and accessories are finally finished! This fun stitching project includes a needle roll that features Dorset Button floss rings, a Christmas Tree needle holder, a stitched & lined pocket that includes rom for personalization, 2 extra pincushion "puffs" at the end of the needle roll.  Note the Trifle Purse to hold thimbles and other goodies. As well as the beaded scissor fob, we will be making an adorable scissor sheath.  Last but not least is the beautiful pinball.  It looks so difficult, but is very simple to make.

This is stitched with linen from Lakeside Linens and floss from A Gentle Art.   All the ribbons and the linings are silk & the beads on the center of the puffs are garnets. 

We are including with the kit some special goodies--wooden Christmas tree floss winders, a heart-shaped waxer, & scissors.  And of course a surprise.  If you have taken classes with us before then you know we like to give each participant a "prezie" just for fun.    WE hope to see you there!!

 December Snow

Fall has brought a wonderful harvest in the garden and Mr. Rook has been picking out his favorite foods! Pompion (the colonial word for Pumpkin), Squash and Maize are first on his list of goodies in which to indulge!  May your own harvest of love and blessings be overflowing!

New Halloween House-Bump N.D'Knight Farm and a new Kit!

Bump N. D'Knight Farm

         There are strange things happening at the D'Knight's Farm.  There are loud noises, moans, and scratching sounds coming from the barn! Where are all the farm animals?  Did you see the ghosts peeping out from the windows of the farmhouse?  And who is that looking out the window of the attic?  There is much mischief afoot at the farm tonight-come and see if you can make sense of everything.  But beware-there is still something or someone going bump in the night!

This is coming out at the Norden Craft online Show in August! Start looking for this chart at your local shop!

Memorial Park is our newest addition to the Down The Lane series!  It's spring and the whole town has turned out to cheer their teams for the first game of the season!  The wooden stands are packed and there are children sitting in wagons,  and on fences.  Even the dog is in the outfield ready to catch on of the balls on the fly! Can't you just smell the peanuts, popcorn and hotdogs? It's time to play ball!

Nashville part 3

Simple Grifts-Grace is our newest Quaker design. Stitched in shades of purple-Abby's favorite color, Simple Gifts-Grace is dedicated to Abbey Grace-a wonderful little girl with a joyful exuberance for life and all its wonders.  She is fighting a battle with Sanfilippo Syndrome. 

20% of our profits of this chart are being donated to the Abby Grace Foundation. You can find more about her at the www.abbygracefoundation.org or you can see her on facebook. 

100% of all donations collected at the Abby Grace Foundation go to the research for a cure for Sanfilippo Syndrome.

Here is part 2 of our Nashville offerings. These are 2 limited edition kits.   All the materials are included. The Spider spool measure is a little hard to see since it is all closed up, but it is a actual 3 inch measure-1 black cat, 2 spooky pumpkins and 2 batty bats!  I was such fun to stitch

    The Letters to Santa includes the envelope to stash the small things in and the letter/pincushion says it all -on one side  " Dear Santa, I have been a good girl.  I made you cookies." While on the other side is "PS--I can explain Everything!"  Just a lot of whimsie and fun!

New Designs for Nashville 2016 part 1

Hi! hope that you are doing well so far this year.  We are busy getting ready for Nashville-it is a very hectic time here! We wanted to show you a few of our new designs that we will offering.  The first is called A Churchyard Christmas.

     It's the children's churchyard nativity and all is not well. Halos are crooked, crowns are bent and some of the camels have escaped! After all the years of helping with the children's Christmas programs, we decided to share some of our favorite memories with you in our design! We hope that you will enjoy our new chart.Watch out for those runaway camels!

New designs for August!

Seedy Pumpkin Cottage

The party at the spooky Seedy Pumpkin Cottage is just getting started! Look-do you see the ghosts appearing to dance?  The cats are quietly slipping out to start the singing and even the bats are swooping low to see all of the shenanigans!  It's the night of the Jack-O'-Lantern Moon and the mischief has begun!  Did you see those scary pumpkins start glowing?
